To 1 January 2009 the our company was called Metal System.

With over a decade of experience in the business, the necessary resources as well as the production capacity in the form of industrial infrastructure the first company structure of Weldon Sp. z o.o. started operations in the metal business in 2002. In the beginning, the company offered metalworking services for other companies. The approaching introduction of Poland to the Euro zone and the emergence of the first signs of an economic boom and the planned growing investments in building and road industry led us to start the manufacture of containers.

The first containers we made were standard, 20-feet, ISO-size containers with a steel frame structure and aluminium profile walls. The containers had one door and a window and could be used as mobile office containers, fixed offices, back-up facilities or segments of a bigger modular building. Over time, we have been developing the design of our containers. We created a panel system, and such a design significantly raises the functionality of the containers. Thanks to this, the windows and doors in a container could be put in any place of the structure, which in turn enabled quick completion of non-standard jobs and the making of containers built to meet the specific client’s needs.

The constantly expanding Design department has been developing the existing container designs and creating new ones: currently we offer 3 types of back-up facility and office containers, 4 types of washroom containers, a living container, and a porter’s box with sanitary facilities based on a 10-feet container. We also make containers per individual requests. All our containers can be used as single segments of bigger modular buildings; we also offer the constructing of such structures by our own assembly teams.

The rise of production brought about the systematic expansion of machinery stock and increased the number of personnel. At present, Weldon’s personnel consists of 200 people. With big production resources and a well-developed design studio, in addition to containers we can also offer metalworking services and making products from cold-bent and welded steel. The growing need for our products, combined with the recent construction and road-building boom, has enabled our further investment, aimed at increasing the production capacities and introducing new types of containers to be offered.

The containers made by Weldon Sp. z o.o. are the basic elements of economical, modular, turnkey construction. Our aim is the effective combination of our universal technology with functional architecture. We challenge the stereotypical thinking connected with containers.
